The picture was taken at the funeral of my Aunt's down in California. This is my brother, Travis, and my son, Sam, who drove me down to California for the funeral. It has been many years since Sam has seen Travis.

I made this layout using Stamperia Christmas Greetings Backgrounds. The papers can be used for anything and I really like them. The corner pieces were from an old book dated back to 1904. I tore the edges and inked the paper with Memento Paris Dusk. The white layer with script is a scrap that I had used a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice punch and I ended up inking it with Paris Dusk also. The next three layers are also scraps. I used Spellbinders Brackets Border One, the next one up with Mystical Embrace and next is Regal Frames that Sam bought me a long time ago!

The red, also scraps, was diecut with Cheery Lynn Designs - Mini Flourish Band. A special thanks to Carri for the Anna Griffin Ephemera that I applied a Soft Spoken Embellishment to it, Jess for the Clock in the lower right of the diecuts, and Robbie for the tiny watch. The two books are stickers from the dollar store. I thought it was pretty neat because the one on the left says New Testament. My brother is a pastor.

I used Reneabouquets beautiful dragonflies and Tim Holtz tiny key, loop pin, small talk stickers, and two adornments. On those I used Prima metallic wax in White Pearl and Aged Brass. I can't remember where the verse on the vellum came from I've had it for so long.
