I cut 1 inch squares out of Simple Stories Life Captured paper and attached them to a 1 inch wide square boarder (cut out of old cardstock to use as a base) for my quilted border. I chose the background cardstock because to add interest and to mimic the color of the sky in the photo. Embellishments I had left over from past projects were chosen because the colors matched the background and because they added texture and interest. A sticker strip from the coordinating journaling stickers were added under the border. The title was cut from navy blue vinyl using cricut.
