I cut a rustic flag cardstock and offwhite cardstock in half and attached them to a base. I cut two frames with Texas using cricut then cut them apart to make the bigger frame. I cut one out of red so the letters would stand out. I cut the X in half so the word was centered in the layout. Small circle alphabet letters were used to document "Fort Sam" and "San Antonio" on either side of "Texas". Photos were thinly matted on red, and a small journaling sentence was added, as was ephemera stating "fabulous".
