Hi, I was inspired to make this card from my mother and her husband. She always loved this painting, American Gothic and I just happen to purchase the cat stamps recently. She LOVED her papa cat who was a red cat. My mother always said it was her and her husband Jim. I actually seen the famous painting in the Art Institute of Chicago with my mother a couple years ago. I do miss her so much. I also bought the papers not too long ago and well it was a close match. I plan on mailing it to my step father. I hope he keeps it for a while...I was also inspired by this months sketch #3...TFL
