Give a Cheer
I've used a cool frame die from Whimsy as the base of this design. I ink smooshed some colour onto the actual card base, made a big mess, so had to line the inside of the card! But I actually love how this turned out. I used each frame to set the scene, a snow capped mountain in the background, a birch tree forest and I used the top left frame to add the sentiment. I stamped in black to balance the black of the deer. The frame was cut first from foam and then the silver layer added for a bit of shine and definition. I paired the card with a lovely Gina K designs envelope in Sea Glass, which toned so beautifully with the inky background. The two lovely Whimsy die sets I used to create the scenes are called Mountain Majesty and Forest Majesty. These two sets are favourites for this time of year.
