I tried something different for this card. I used Interference inks with gesso on black card stock for the Ruffled Lace Frame. I love how it turned out, but gesso does not give defined stencil results because it is a bit more fluid. The look is more mixed media, which i love. The butterflies were created on white card with interference ink as the base and then i added some of the gesso/interference ink combo. The white parts are texture paste with added embossing powder. The peaks of the frame was a combination of 2 Interference inks and gesso to make a subtle minty green. It was fun playing to see what i could get. I have used: Lisa Horton - Ruffled Lace Frame - 3D folder and layering stencils Lisa Horton - Beautiful Butterflies (smallest 2 butterflies) - 3D folder and layering stencils Lisa Horton - Knitted - 3D embossing folder Lisa Horton - Craft Dies - Special Wishes (used Birthday Wishes from this set) Lisa Horton Cloud 9 Interference inks, Sapphire Gold, Sweet Treat, and Pink Champagne Distress Oxide Ink - Broken China (on top part of sentiment and edges of butterflies)
