Hi Friends! I have 2 more Journal pages for my "Morning walk" Journal. One page is about seeing these long spikes of ice growing out of the ground when it gets cold. They look interesting, And my imagination would make them into things like a miniature ice castles, cities, or maybe ice troll hair. I looked them up on the internet, and discovered the scientific explanation of them. they are called Needle Ice! The second page is about the fist big storm of the year. 10 inches of light and fluffy snow. So pretty to walk through!
-For creating I used 49 and Market Nature Study papers for the back ground. I die cut the flowers and brushed them with heavy gesso to make them look a bit snowy. I die cut the number "5". I used a public domain image of a troll, altered it, and printed it along with the journaling on my printer. I fussy cut the troll. Also I used some ephemera from my stash. I edged some pieces with Vintage photo distress ink.
The snowy day page : I have lace to give a snowy texture. The quote comes from the children's book "the Snowy Day" . I used decorative scissors on the edge. The flourish comes from an old kaisercraft collection. The snow flakes are Reneabouques. And a cutout green bow from 49 and market.
Thank you so much for stopping by to look!
~Terry
