I made this using the Happy New Year die cut that I received as a freebie from Scrapbook.com. I used a slightly sparkly (not glitter) red card stock that I had in my stash. I used glitter card stock for the the matting. I don't like to waste materials so I cut the inner frame from the centre of the card. I used the Paper Rose Stitched rectangles - the largest one and the next size down. The New Year sentiment was also cut using the centre of the glitter card stock.
The gold lanterns were peel embellishments (made in Holland) which I stuck on another red card stock for dimension and then fussy cut. The dragon is hand drawn and coloured using pencils and then fussy cut.
The card ended up being 6 x 8 1/4 inches.
