Before there was a SamSamIAm and Squeakers, there was a Squeakers and Gizmo (and before Squeakers, it was Gizmo and Gremlin). Gizmo (the black cat) was a teensy bit braver than Squeakers (due to being older and more wise) but they both had so many similar personality traits,. They both loved being on the deck and cautiously explored everything up to the steps. (Whereas Gremlin and SamSam would race off if given the chance!)
