That is so cool! I see the Chalmers name and wondered if that is his last name? My boys middle/high school band teacher had the same last name! You could enter this in the laces/trims challenge because of your twine!

My mother went to a one-room schoolhouse until the age of 10; she had so many fond memories of that time... Love the overall design of this page, most of all the scalloped edges the pieced schoolhouse and those marvelous images of your Dad!!!

My parents grade schools were tiny little schools in the country 1 to 2 rooms.

Entered in February Laces & Trims.

I cut the titles, school house, apple and pencils with the silhouette cameo. The tags are stock tags that I misted with walnut ink and then inked the edges and added jute.
