Inspired by Elizabeth's (@Eapipkin) wonderful projects. She works with beautiful lace and trims and I was blown away by her recent, altered embroidery hoop. I also wanted to make use of my ornate die cuts I purchased from the Internet long long ago. So I stenciled a lace pattern onto some white cardstock and started to assemble this layout. I also added some doily scraps and part of a cut-up square frame (bottom left). The papers are also scrap pieces.
The pictures show Keith's Coffee Shop in Cirencester. It was like stepping back in time, the shop was still fitted with the dark wooden shelves and little drawers for storing coffee and tea. The staff vall wore white "pinnies" (aprons). The smells of rich coffee and freshly baked cake and bread hung in the air and the food was home made and scrumptious. We enjoyed our lunch and browsed to buy chocolates and cake.
