I have had the Landscape die set for a long time without using it until I recently saw a card by Allison Frazier on her blog, The Creative Sprout. I set out to recreate it. I changed the colors slightly and changed the sky and sentiment, but otherwise, its the same card. I loved her idea to emboss the card front with the Color Block Southwest background die.
I mounted the die-cuts onto index weight cardstock so it wouldnt be too thick. That allowed me to emboss the entire piece. I doubled the layers on the sentiment and the cacti. I have already made three to this one card and have plans for more with different color schemes.
