For the background, distress water color pencils were used on a Ranger distress water color card stock panel. A combination of blues, pinks, oranges, yellows, and greens were selected from sets 1, 2, 3, and 5. After the paper was dried, I sparingly applied distress Mica spray tarnished brass and antique bronze. The panel was attached to an A2 card before adding the bird. The bird is a die cut from Nature's Garden Kingfisher collection "Flying Gem". The bird is also water colored with a the pencils. I didn't like the white around the die cut so I painted around the bird to match the background. The bird is mounted on foam squares. The flowers were cut from various dies and paper punches and layered. I have not yet decided what sentiment to use.
