Its the little things and gestures that make my heart skip a beat. Despite his discomfort and dealing with health challenges, my dad surprised me with a homemade pumpkin pie. Since he started his battle with multiple bouts of cancer, he stopped baking (he still cooks meals for him and my mom). I am not much of a pie eater but I will always be first in line for pumpkin pie (and bourbon chocolate pecan pie)!
