The starting point for this layout was the Merry Christmas washi tape from Doodlebug Designs. To help the words stand out I chose a white background and put a strip from end to end, facing inwards, on each side. I used a ruler to make sure the distance was the same on all sides. To add color I cut circles of varying sizes out of cardstock that coordinated with the colors of the tape and placed them on a diagonal to break up the sharp edges of the layout. I matted the photo in two layers of the same green with a border of white in the middle to make it appear the white from the background was showing through. A tab was added to the photo and a Santa sticker was backed with foam squares to make it 3D on the corner. Christmas bulb stickers were added randomly on top and "connected" with a gray, marker line. I added the "Here Comes Santa Claus" sticker to hide a bow I didn't like. The title was from an SVG and was cut out in 2 colors using my cricut.
