Mommy’s nausea is still going strong.
October 16 – Second prenatal appointment. Heard baby’s heartbeat for the first time!
Mommy and Daddy decide to not find out baby’s sex at the ultrasound.
October 22 – Mommy is sure she’s feeling little flutters now!
15 weeks pregnant – Nausea starts getting better, but headaches are starting.
17 weeks pregnant – Nausea is pretty much gone!
Fifth disease scare, but luckily Mommy is immune!
November 22 – Big ultrasound! Everything looks great!
19 weeks pregnant – Heartburn starts.
December 2 – Mommy hits the 20 week mark, halfway there!
Mommy starts having Braxton Hicks contractions.
Mommy’s sciatica starts bothering her.
Baby can hear now, so Mommy and Daddy start talking to him/her.
Baby starts kicking and flipping so strongly it can be felt from the outside!
Mommy buys baby book and starts filling it out.
January 13 – Baby measures about 10 inches from crown to rump, or a total length of about 15.75 inches from head to toe, and weighs about 2.4 pounds. Brain waves show rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which means your baby may be dreaming. Eyelids are opening. Branches of lungs are developing, so there's a good chance that baby would survive if born prematurely now.
