The Trip From Hell - Belize City

Belize City was our first stop, and it was the trip from Hell!
First, we were delayed by 4 hours because we had to make an emergency stop the night before in Cozumel for a sick crew member. We were all good with possibly getting to go to Cozumel but because people had paid for excursions in Belize, the ship continued as planned. Unfortunately, I woke up seasick and sick from having too many mixed cocktails. Then we had to take a tender from the ship to port because the water was too shallow. THAT was the nightmare. It wasnt organized at all and thousands of people standing in line in hallways waiting for the boats to come get us. It was 105degrees and my anxiety was off the charts!
Pam and Sean stayed on the ship. Andrew, Al, Marisol and Todd went ahead and met the tour company for the tubing experience I planned.
Suzanne, Aaron, Patti, Sari and I just stayed at the port. We had some lunch and shopped but we were all so overheated and annoyed that we went back to the boat within 2 hours. We did not want to have to fight the crowds to get back on the boat.
