(Left) Andrew handled both Leo and Lindy at the Wichita scentwork trial while Lyra and I played in conformation. Both dogs got their first leg in novice buried as well as earning their novice exterior titles! April 2019
(Right) Lindy and Lyra earned their Farm Dog Certificates at Ability Farms in May of 2019
Farm Dog Skills:
1. Greet the judge
2. Walk around the warm and passive strangers
3. Jump on a hay bale
4. Walk past farm animals
5. Walk on unusual surfaces
6. Supervised separation
7. Pass through a gate without running ahead
8. Hander feeds livestock with dog restrained calmly
9. Reaction to another dog
10. Reaction to noise distraction
11. Dog approaches livestock
12. Physical exam by handler
Dog must pass all tests 2 times for their certification.
