Got the urge to do a 12x12 tonight so I went digging through some older pics of Dev. Here she is at 2 months, check out the poofy hair!! LOL, I don't really miss those days! Anywho sorry for the funky scan line, too tired to deal with it right now. The pic scanned weird too, the colors are way off. Anyway, TFL!! .................Journaling reads: My goodness girl, I can’t believe how fast time has flown. As I write this, it’s been over three years since this picture was taken. So I’m a little behind in scrapbooking your infancy… one ‘good’ thing about time flying by is that the memories still seem fresh.

I can still remember the first time your Grandpa laid eyes on you, how eager he was to hold you in his arms. I still remember the soft way he spoke to you, and the calm look in your eyes as he rocked you back and forth. I can remember the pride in his voice every time he spoke of you, and the love that he had for you was instant and pure. To this day you are Grandpa’s girl, eagerly running into his arms and fighting when it’s time to leave; smiling when you hear his voice and tearing up when you have to say goodbye. The love that he has for you has never faltered, and the joy you bring him is constant. You two have had a bond since day one, and it means that I never have to look back to remember - I just have to live in the moment.
