Wow!!! You've done an amazing job in making the theme assigned relate to you. Your engagement was truly unexpected! Congratulations on such a lovely wedding. Your layout is so sophisticated and elegant - just perfect for a wedding lo.
Oh, Anna...This is stunning! I LOVE the photo, and your journaling is just so lovely! What a great idea to use symbolism in the form of the clear flowers! I love the raw chipboard, too! LOVE this layout soooo much!!!
Ah - this is so fantastic. You have incredible integrity.... so many people hide these things, and then their kids figure it out during their early teens and feel it's all the license they need... I am so moved!
Oh, hon, I'm going to miss you! I love seeing your lo's and thought for sure you would be in until the end!! Hope you're going to keep up with the challenges, I'd love to see what you come up with!
Just uploading this one to my gallery. My last challenge for scrapvivor. Made it through six weeks and was in the bottom 2 this week. Scrapvivor week 6 - "wrap it up" REQUIREMENTS: 1. Create a 1- or 2-page LO 2. KRAFT cardstock as the background 3. ONE other dominant color of cardstock plus either black or white as an accent - NO patterned paper - i chose purple. 4. at least 1 photo 5. a visible title 6. visible or hidden journaling 7. string, hemp cord or fiber NO RIBBON - i used white fibers on the journaling box. 8. at least one metal embellishment - i used 2 photo cornes 8. THEME: something unexpected, surprising or hidden - i chose "unexpected"!!!! This was a really hard challenge for me to do ! The journaling reads: This story begins at midnight New years eve 2001/2002 when my hubby went down on his knees and asked me to marry him. The proposal came as a big surprise. I said yes. Everybody that knows me know that I’m REALLY organized and always plan ahead. Since I was a little girl my dream wedding was a spring weeding. So the big day was set on the 24th of May 2003. We started to make plans for the big day. Then it happened in November 2002. I did not start my period. This could not be…we were using birthcontrols. We had not planned for a baby until after one or two years. We were going to get married in few months. This could not be. A Pregnacy test confirmed it I was pregnant. What now ? Should we postpone the wedding ? I did not want to get married 6 month pregnant. Somebody (deffenitly not me) suggested we should get married en Febuary. Febuary ???!!!! What’s wrong with people I thought. I “hate” Febuary. The most boring month of the year. Dark. Cold. Not my favourite month. We got married the 22th of Febuary 2203. My spring weeding turned out to be a winter wedding…not as I had planned. It was amazing day. Then Sunneva was born in August 2003 the best unexpected gift I have ever gotten. The clear flower embellies symbolizes that on our Wedding day we were already three. I was 16 week into my pregnancy. TFL
