This photo was taken when Allen was about a month old. It's one of my favorites. My son is holding him and his mommy is giving him the sweetest kiss! I do adore my grandchildren! Doodling is hand drawn. Journaling is hidden (again) and reads: Allen, I absolutely adore you. You are the most perfect baby! Your granddaddy, Allen, who died even before your Daddy was born, would have been so proud to have a namesake. You are the only “Bellew” to pass the name along to, so as you grow, I hope that you will always remember the words from the country song “My Last Name” by Dierks Bentley (2006):

Passed down from generations, too far back to trace.
I can see all my relations, when I look into my face.
May never make it famous, but I'll never bring it shame -
It's my last name.

Daddy always told me, far back as I recall.
Son you're part of something, you represent us all.
