I sewed the zipper in so I could include the third photo. I ended up printing the journaling on vellum and attaching it over the photo...the fiber is actually canvas that I painted and tore into strips. The jouraling reads " My sweet Nicolas I can't beleive you are already two years old. How quickly time flies. Everyday you learn a new word or concept. You are so proud of yourself! You have grown to love to color. You have finally acquired the love for m-n-m's. you love to fight with and then turn around an dlove on yoru sister. Youare fiercely independent but in the next breath you come over to get a kiss or an assurance that someone is near. I love you my sweet boy!"
