this is inspiring...i too have a photo similar to this...you see on my photo my sister-inlaw's face and my back...your wedding lo's make me want to scrap some of my wedding photos..i'm new to sb...need to learn a bit more
Gorgeous page Liz - love the journaling and I really love how you did the title through the pic. I'm going to have to give that a try next time I digi scrap. Thanks for the inspiration!! :)
OMG, this is AMAZING!!! Love the beautiful pic with the title overlay, and contrary to what you think, your journaling is so very poignant (got me all misty eyed) :)
Oh, Lizzy...You have really touched my heart with your journaling! So, I guess you are a successful student of the "Queen of Journaling", Becky!!! I also really LOVE this photo, and your color choice...not to mention your graphic genius! I always look forward to your wonderful layouts!
Ok chills and goosebumps here...I love this....and you took a "disappointing photo angle" and more than made up for it in your journaling....you have an inner voice Liz..and it is beautiful....
OMG, Liz. This is magnificent. I absolutely love it. Your journaling....well, girl, it leaves me speechless (and you know that is hard - lol) It's freakin awesome for lack of a better way to describe it. Totally heartfelt. Honest. And it flows. LOVE it. And the design....*sigh* well, I am building an archive of scrapliftable layouts, thanks to you. ((hugs)) b
Wow, Liz... this lives me breathless! This is absolutely amazing in every possible way. That photo alone is gorgeous, but coupled with your heartfelt journaling makes it even better. Beautifully done, my dear!
Finally felt brave enough to tackle another layout for the wedding album. At the risk of offending her, I must credit Becky for inspiring me with her journaling. She has such a way with words. Her stories are always heartfelt, poignant and real. I definitely can't write like her, but her layouts inspire me to get my thoughts down on paper, and her friendship inspires me to never stop trying to find my inner voice. Thanks B. xoxoxoxoxoxo
Journaling reads: I wish our photographer had documented this moment from a different vantage point. That it was your expression that was captured instead of mine. I can see clearly though, exactly what you looked like. It is the look you have everytime you embrace either of your children. It is the look of hope. Hope that good things will come to us. Hope that success will grace our lives. Hope that we will have the strength to overcome adversity. Hope that we find happiness. I hope you know that I have embraced all of your teachings, your standards, your sensibilities, and made them my own. And armed with that, your hopes for me will surely become a reality.
