Great photos and I know the pride and joy you feel. I have a DD who plays in all kinds of sports and I love to let everyone know who she belongs too. I have to agree that the Hockey ribbon should be at the top of the page but other then that I love it.
The journaling is awesome ! Such a neat idea. I may have to scraplift that one :-) Great colors and the design is clean and simple. I would have put another stipe on the top and maybe another mat under the pics. Great page.
I would have arranged the photos etc. closer. There's too much "trapped" white space. Love it though. Great photos. I can see why you're so proud of this little man. This is the one with the positive outlook right?? Great job.
Cool idea to do the journaling in alternating colors! The only thing I can suggest is maybe to add another strip of ribbon across the top, even if it is partially covered by your pics/journaling, but don't know for sure that that would change it for the better or not since it is already awesome!
I really love your journaling! It's really great. I'm a cardstock fan so your style is similar to mine. As Kahlan said, I would have inked the edges of your mats and maybe double matted. I am sure your son will be very proud when he sees your LO.
I really love the way you journaled the alternating lines in black background vs text. I really think inking the edges of the layout and photo mats would give more depth to your layout.
great lo! Love all the action shots and the pic of the jersey! I think I would have used a black background sheet and the right corner feels empty, but I still love it!
This is a page for DS's hockey season. He was so proud at the beginning of the season to finally have a jersey with his name on it. Journaling reads "Pride and Joy! As I sit in the stand and watch you play I am bursting with pride and joy. My first instinct is to run out on the field and give you and enormous hug, but I know that might embarrass you. Instead, I cheer you on, telling everyone in sight that you are my Child. I hope that one day you will experience the depths of love and pride that I have for you. You will always be my pride and joy. Love, MOM" Behind the picture is a pocket with some more journaling from Mom to Son.
