My dad plays the song with those lyrics in it on his guitar and I can never make it through without tearing. He sang that to me and now I have kids and, nope, can't make it through! I can bet you didn't make it through this layout either...it's really beautiful!
Okay, you look old enough to be her mother, NOT her grandmother....and on that note, this is very touching, very sentimental and a wonderful keepsake for her to have!
Linda, can you say tears? They do grow up fast. She will cherish this page. Even though they get in a hurry to grow up - they still need to know someone is looking out for that child in them.
This layout is amazing. I love how you used the white space and those photos are perfect for the journaling. You just feel Gramma's longing for the little girl that was.
This is another page for Kaylin's scrapbook. Thought she'd like a picture of her and David. Seeing her with a boyfriend was making Gramma realize how fast the years go by. Title reads, "Turn around and you're grown". Journaling reads, "Kaylin, where did the time go so fast? It doesn't seem that long ago when you were learning to walk and playing with dolls. And look at you now, growing up right before our eyes. Always make good choices, sweetheart. I'm so proud of you and I love you. xoxox Gramma."
