Colours are cool. Are your a sport hunter or for food. Do you think this might have been a bit grisly to scrap, even given the journalling? (No judging here, just asking)

I really like this page. I think you might have used some red on the pp to match the bright red jacket on the pics, but oh well, that's just me. I really like this one!
creativity ;3 : use of color; 3: journaling; 4: pictures; 3: use of product 3.. .i have used the same k-ology line of pp and the same title family traditons on a lo i did last week.!!!!!!!!!
Actually the pics aren't dark on the LO itself, it's just from me taking the pic and posting it here, I even used the flash with my digi but had to be careful with the glare so it still turned out a little dark. Plus, we didn't get back from the mountains until after dark so we are outside in the pitch dark to take the pictures, didn't want to drag the deer inside for pics without first skinning them and have blood everywhere...ewww....LOL! Thanks for pointing that out though, I forget what it looks like to you guys because I know what it looks like here in person. I went ahead and edited my description to make it easier on the next person who is looking, thanks for your input!
Creativity: 3 Color: 4 Journaling: 4 Pictures: 1 Product: 3 Maybe it's just the quality of the picture/scan, but it seems kinda dark--I can't really tell what's going on in all the pictures. I do love the journaling!
Okay-this brought tears to my eyes..maybe because I've known your whole family my entire life and this is the exact things that are so special to my family too. Lori you did a wonderful job with this. I love it!
Upper left pic is of dh and me, upper right pic is of my 'proud' dad and me, lower left is of my mom, brother and me with all four of mine and my brother's deer on his truck in the back and lower right is of my dad and me with our tongues hanging out pretending to be dead like the deer....morbid, I know, but who can resist a little redneck humor?? LOL.
THE JOURNALING IS HIDDEN in the file folder which opens and (VERY long) reads,
Ever since I began hunting in 2002, I could tell my Dad was pleased. I have always been a daddy's girl and he has always wanted me to go hunting but I didn't seem to have the desire until a few years ago. One of my dreams before either one of us left this earth was for me to kill a buck and for my dad to be there to see it. On November 27, 2006, I was blessed with that dream. I had prayed for it that morning and the Lord showered me with His mercey and not only sent me a large doe, but also a 6 pt. buck right behind her. I'm not sure which made me happier that day ~ getting to tell Ty so he could come over and teach me how to gut the deer and drag them out or knowing that my dad's radio was on and he could hear every word I said and that his girl had killed her first buck. I didn't know it at the time but apparently the news brought tears to his eyes. The proud and incredibly pleased look on his face when we met up in the parking lot spoke volumes that I will remember until I draw my last breath. Thank you, Lord, for shining down upon me on that beautiful day, giving me a steady arm, good aim, and blessing me, as unworthy as I am, with the desires of my heart as your Word promises. ~ Thanks for looking!
