This was my first Wall-Art I have ever made. My husband proposed to me in Paris infront of the Eifel-Tower and I made this canvas for our bedroom 'Wall of wonderful moments".
I used different inks to age and color the canvas. The letters are chipboard which I first painted black and then covered with a glaze. To make the background a bit more interesting, I copied a map of Paris on regular paper, taped over it with packing paper, soaked it in water until the paper came off and then used the transparent map (which was already sticky) on the background. All the photos are printed on canvas paper. I added some ribbons, mesh, and other embelishments to make the canvas more interesting.
