wow, your closest neighbor is 4.5 miles and mine is on the other side of the wall. I do miss living in the country somedays. Great shot of this calf.

Very cool pic. We've got some buffalo down the road from us too! One time I was driving down the road & they were herding one that got out straight toward my car. A little scary to see one of those big guys ambling down the road at you. Oh, and they were herding it with a tractor. *grin*

Glad the neighbor is 4.5 miles away - wouldn't want to find THIS rooting in my garbage can :) I remember as a little girl being in the car with my grandmother when a Bison crossed the road... she got out of the car to take his photo and I was sure she was going to die... she walked right up in front of him and took his picture - then petted the bridge of his NOSE!!! Crazy old woman she was I tell ya :)
