This is my adorable, serious nephew a couple of weeks ago. My brother dressed him up in his Angel gear: hat, jersey and sweatshirt. He is very serious in front of the camera, even when he's told to smile. I did this layout for Elsie's 52 Scrapbooking Challenges- Challenge #18, Scraplift a Page Design from her book. I got the idea from KI Memories website (gallery), "Turning Two" layout, unknown artist. Journaling reads: "There are only 35 more days until the Angels home opener on April 2nd at 7:05 pm at Angel's stadium against the Texas Rangers. Make sure you get your tickets." The story behind the journaling comes from my dh. He is a LONG time Angel Fan, even when they were bad. Since I can remember, he would have these countdown messages on his answering machine, voicemail, etc, until the Angel's home opener or the beginning of baseball season. So when I saw this picture, it was the perfect journaling type. By the way, my husband loves this page! Go Angels! ***Sorry for the glare in the photo.
