Ahmelah is painting easter eggs for the first time basically by herself. Leftover items used: Card stock, sheer ribbon, beads. Interactive handmade vellum egg threaded w/sheer ribbon has journaling on it(removeable). Along side right of page a piece of tule is sewn with a zig-zag&straight stich on all sides to mimic a tube enclosed with the beads like a shaker box. Ribbon ontop has a rhinestone in the middle. JOURNALING READS. The morning of April 15,06 it's time to boil & dye eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt at Bertha & Jessie Wayne's house. Kiffany & Temika brought there crew while Jeff & I brought Melah & Jahmeer to participate in the hunt. It's the end of the hunt and Ahmelah walks away w/more than a few eggs & candy. The crowd wasn't happy, in the end we tried to equally divide the eggs... which still wasn't good enough. Temika (my bestfriend) & i had words until the next day when I went over her house. We mended our hurt feelings & went back to everyday life. It was a fun filled day with all the children. This was even Jahmeer's 1st Easter Egg Hunt. With the day going as fast as it came, I have only 1photo to show.(((Because this tube is made to mimic a shaker box, it's covering up the "R" in Easter w/actual beads so please forgive my clearity.)))
