I didn't request a White House Tour until February, and was informed that they were booked. I asked to be put on a waiting list, and was informed less than a week before leaving for vacation that there was a cancellation, and we were in. I included those e-mails in the pocket with the brochure. A problem I had was that they do not allow any cameras, phones, etc in the White House, and there aren't any lockers where those items can be stored, and since we walked everywhere, we were too tired to go back and get our picture taken closer to the White House. So I took this picture from the Washington Memorial, and used a circle to focus on the White House.
