This is my lo for the first Digi Scrap Girlz monthly challenge hosted by Christiane. The 50 things about me was inspired by a thread in the forums by Dianne 110863, which is to list 50 things about yourself.

1. My name is Marilyn and I'm 54 years young
2. I live in Bendigo, Australia
3. I have 1 daughter and 1 son whom I love dearly
4. I have 3 granddaughters who are the lights of my life
5. I have 1 sister and 1 brother who I love dearly. I am very close to my sister especially
6. Both my parents are still alive and in fairly good health
7. I was born and lived in England for nearly 13 years
8. I was married for 24 years before my husband and I divorced
9. I have lived with my current partner for 11 years
10. I work as a community case manager for a large health care group
11. Green is my favourite colour, followed very closely by pink
12. I have 2 dogs, 1 cat and a bunch of chooks
13. I lived on 40 acres for over 20 years. I had cows I milked, sheep, ducks, geese, chooks, turkeys, dogs, cats...We also had many wild animals and birds visit and make their home on our property........I love animals.
14. I am terrified of spiders, snakes and heights
15. I love playing computer games
16. I make friends easily, but only have 2 BEST friends
17. I absolutely love the autumn
18. I would like to spend one more Christmas in a cold climate....with snow, just like I did in my childhood
19. I have always dreamed of walking the Himalaya's
20. I would love to travel
21. My dream is to have enough money to retire from paid work PERMANENTLY!
22. I HATE really hot weather

24. I just love to be able to kick my shoes off
25. I am basically a lazy person
26. My favourite pastimes are scrapbooking, reading, patchworking, photography, computers, gardening
27. I love flowers....especially one's with a strong perfume....violets, carnations, liliies, roses......
28. My favourite places are the seashore, mountains or places where there are lots of trees
29. I love walking, I will walk for hours.....but not if you call it exercise!
30. I adore food
31. I like a drink occasionally....champagne, red wine, JB & coke, JD & coke, gin and tonic and sometimes a cocktail, but I mainly drink water
30. I love movies that make me laugh. I used to LOVE horror movies, but I find these days they scare me TOO much
31. I still have in my possession some books and dolls from when I was very small
32. I can be bossy, opinionated and controlling
33. I can't swim very well, so hate deep water. I panic if I go past my chest in the water
34. I am a terrible passenger in a car, but love driving
35. I was always so very skinny (scrawny actually) until I turned 45, since then I have had a weight problem.....go figure!
36. I swear when I get angry....OK.... and sometimes when I'm not.
37. I love comfortable clothes. I like fashionable clothes, but if they are not comfy, I won't wear them....I love my trakky daks
38. I love to entertain....very casually. I like dinner parties, but prefer barbies or steam boats
39. I love my own company....I don't have a problem with spending time alone
40. I've nearly always had really long hair, but since I've gotten older, I am loving the ease of having it really short.
41. I like all sorts of music: from classical and opera, to pop, R&B and some country, to the latest stuff out.
42. I bought my first ever brand new car for my 50th birthday present to myself
43. I'm a compulsive hoarder
44. I still think Sean Connery is soooooo sexy.
45. I know I'm on this earth to make a difference, but I still don't know in what area.
46. I still have so many things I want to achieve in my life
47. I can't stand injustice, two faced people, liars and cheats and people who aren't nice to others....especially those less fortunate than themselves
48. I love good coffee, flavoured green teas and cold milo.........I still like to eat it off the top of the milk
49. I would love to write and illistrate childrens books
50. I love my children and my grandchildren more than life itself
