Shannon.....the orange color challenge was perfect for those photos.Just beautiful...perfectly balanced and whimical. I can't believe you cut those letters out by hand.....whew!
Wow Shannon that sure is Orange!! or is it onarge as my kids would say?? Reminds me of a bottle of fanta. Anyway, great job, I like the journalling on a tag - I have yet to do hidden journalling, and what a great thing it is you do at Habitat for Humanity.
This is for scrappy chic's orange color challenge. I did a partial scraplift of Amy Stultz's lo in the Nov CK mag, page 30. Amy scraps 8.5x11 and did a two-page spread so I converted it to a 12x12 one page. I chose this pp because it is fun and lively. Just how we are at Habitat.
Journaling: I started volunteering at Habitat for Humanity in August 2001. I was only going to volunteer two weekends a month and then I caught the bug…infectious habititus and started going every weekend except in the summers. I just love what Habitat stands for and helping the families fulfill the American dream. Not only am I helping people, I learn how to build homes. I can’ not afford to donate that much money, so I donate my time. I became a Team Leader in 2002. I take a team of people and teach them how to do the tasks of the day. My favorites are roofing, framing, and drywall. Oh, and I can swing a mean hammer, too!!
