I was drawn immediately to this LO because I am a retired history professor and for years took part in Civil War reinactments. I like the way you used a photo for the backgound of the page. You really did a wonderul job.

Antietam National Cemetery

This layout is for the Antietam National Cemetery in Sharpsburg, MD. "Old Simon" is the monument at the center of the cemetery and my favorite monument of the entire park. On the side of the layout is a portion of the poem, "Bivouac of the Dead" which is displayed on plaques around the cemetery. The Battle of Antietam on September 17, 1862 is the bloodiest day in American history.
