Took a 4 by 6 picture and matted it with "Bohemia Blue/Red Paisley" Item #BH1090A that matches the red torn scrapbook paper on the bottom of the layout. The 2 flowers were made by 1 and 1.5 inch "Stacking Daisy Punch" by McGill. The paper used for the punches are "Bohemia Blue/Red Paisley" Item #BH1090A and white cardstock. Glued them together. The rub-ons are from "Wonderful Words Rub-ons title "Baby Girl" by DejaViews. The top rub-on is matted with the same as the picture. I added some ribbon and 2 charms. One reads "Face to Face" the other says "Cherish".
Picture 2 Tore several pieces of scrapbook paper to add to the white cardstock background. I tear the papers by wetting a Q-tip and running it down the paper is a wavy fashion instead of a straight line. I used a daisy punch 1 and 1.5 inch punch. To create the embellishments on the bottom. I made an envelope from a pattern found on DIYnet.com. I printed the journaling on white cardstock and matted it with the same color paper as the torn section above and the same color as the punch..yes, the blue paper. I added a couple of stickers on the white cardstock. YOU CAN see how the layouts comes all together by using the same color paper several times WITHIN the layouts.
