My friend Becky (SamsMom) and I challenged one another to do a layout documenting our girls' struggles with eczema, so here's mine. Thanks Beck!
Journaling:
The red, angry patches, the raised, thickened skin, the wounds opened by scratching...excruciating for you, excruciating for those who love you. Food allergies and eczema have been with you since birth, and show no sign of departing soon. It's very difficult for me to see images of you with eczema altering your features, reminding me of what you have to endure every day, no matter how hard we fight it with medications, creams & lifestyle. But I am reminded that I want to record all the significant aspects of your life, and this definitely qualifies. And I realize that nothing can make you any less beautiful.
