As a person who works with students with severe disabilities, I find great comfort in looking at your album (and visiting the website) This touched my heart. Thank you.
This is the cover to the 4x4 mini album that I created for my best friend. Her severely disabled DD passed away last July after a tragic freak accident. I had made her a larger 12x12 album shortly after Amber's death, and then created this little ditty for her late-Christmas present last year.
The cover title came from Jamie herself. I asked her to give me a few reasons why she loves Amber. She said "Oh my, there are a million reasons. I can't pick just a few".
I used 7 gypsies watch parts in a little baggie on the front cover to convey the capturing of time for her.
The journaling inside reads in this order:

Thank you for letting me be your mommy.
I loved your laugh. Your giggle would bring happy tears to my eyes every time.
Thank you for loving me back.
I loved you for all your special little "Amber" things. The way you would laugh when you heard certain sounds, the way you would fling your bottle around and get juice all over everything. The way you would kick your feet when you were on the floor.
Thank you for giving me so much hope and faith
===================== I used a 4x4 Making Memories paper album for this, recovering it with PP. I can't remember all of the supplies used, but it was something along the lines of 7 gypsies, Karen foster, Provo Craft, Colorbox (inking), Bazzill, Magenta (sticker), various MM Metals. The "amber" beads were given to me in a RAK when I did the larger album. The ribbon from the album was replaced with that waxy string stuff from 7 Gypsies.
The album is the kind with pockets in it. This was so Jamie could write further journaling and tuck it in there herself.
