I found this old music box in a junk shop. The date on the bottom was 1979. The wood was split in several places and it needed a good cleaning. I covered it with some Sassafras Lass Crimson Dots paper and then decoupaged it with Royal Coat Hi-Gloss Spray Finish. Then I added a stryrofoam floor covered with some generic green paper. I used double back to back dimensional stickers by Mary Engelbreit on some 18 gauge floral cloth wire. The gaffer tape is from 7 gypsies. Now, it rotates and plays it's song with new life. I love it!
I remember seeing a 7 Gypsies display online from the Winter CHA. It was an impressive and probably very expensive glass dome with a glass ball knob on the top. It was filled with 7 Gypsies products and it was awesome. I will be keeping my eyes open for another glass dome to perhaps start my own collection of scrap music boxes. Thanks for looking.
