My dog stands behind the curtain on the door and patiently waits for someone to notice. After a few minutes if he no-one responds he then make a soft growling sound, and finally if no response he will excitedly get my attention by putting his front paws on my leg and pawing or pulling on my hand 'til i get up and let him out.
