These are the backs of the Bettie Page ATCs that I made for the SHCG swap. They are in order from top to bottom, left to right. Each card is stamped with a quote by silver screen star, Tallulah Bankhead: "It's the good girls who keep the diaries. The bad girls never have the time." I also included a stamp that went with the motif of the front of each card. In addition, I signed and dated 03/07. Cards 1-4, 6, 8, 11-12 were wrapped in paper from one of those tabletop calendars that contained scrapbooking pp for each day of the year. It's 3 years old! I never did use them until now! Cards 5, 7, & 10 are wrapped in paper from a value paper pack. Cards 9 & 13 are wrapped in paper from the first year I started scrapbooking! I still have that stash and it's embarrassing to look back on the kind of pps I used to pick out. (Blech!) If you take a close look at card 10, there's a little cutout of a hand from one of those ghastly old school pps. Card 7 I tried to stamp and then emboss in white, but it didn't show, so I had to go over with white gel pen. It ended up looking chalky and slightly erased. I guess I could argue, ironically, it's a lot like what you'd see on a blackboard. Overall, it's not the cleanest work, but it was my first time, and I kinda like the rough handmade look to all of them.
