I'm so excited about my latest project! Not that I don't already have enough to do...LOL I'm doing a circle journal with some friends of mine. For those of you not familiar with such a thing, you basically decide on a theme and create various pages using your scrapbook stuff. You then pass it around to your circle of friends and they add to your journal by doing some pages as well. At the same time, you're decorating pages in another person's journal (using their theme) while another is adding pages to someone else's journal (in accordance with their theme), etc. etc. etc. At the end of each month, each journal is passed on to the next person in the circle to decorate a page or two and add their own thoughts (related to the specific theme). For example, my theme is "Quotes, Poems, Sayings and Thoughts." Each person will add some of their favorite quotes or poems or sayings or thoughts to fill up a 2-page spread. My completed journal will then return to me some time in March next year.

I decided to take the "literal" meaning of circle journal and create a mini album in the shape of a circle...LOL I really crack myself up sometimes. Anyway, it may prove a challenge to some of the people in the circle, I mean, how often do you scrapbook a circular page?! I included a pattern with the journal in case they want to cut out some background paper for a page. This particular cover is a 6" diameter. I used a bunch of different lettering styles: metal letters, Scrabble tile letter stickers matted and pop-dotted, letter stickers with Diamond Glaze circles on top, page pebble mounted on rectangular metal-rimmed tag that was covered in Krylon gold-leafing pen. I found cool bamboo-ish type paper, elephant paper and mulberry paper...all wrapped up in hemp. The inside pages are 5" diameter. Thanks for looking!
