Ok...this is a simple, simple lo. I kept trying to put something along the right side of this but then kept taking it back away. Nothing looked right and I really just wanted to have the journaling anyway...so here it is....just like this. This photo was taken in Oct. of 2003 while hiking a couple of the Adirondack mountains in NY with my husband and son, Skylar. The journaling comes from another fav book of mine called 'Why a Son Needs a Mom" by Gregory E. Lang ~ To tell him he is handsome, to see that he does not become spoiled, to teach him to play fair, to believe in him when no one else does, to be his trusted confidante, to make sure he looks his best when leaving the house, to teach him the importance of compromise, to steer him away from darkness, to protect him until he is old enough to protect himself, to teach him table manners, to teach him that all people are worthy of respect, to help him overcome his fears, to make sure his socks match, to make sure his world has a broad horizon, to make sure he has good memories to hold on to.
