Behold, my first attempt at altering wood so be easy on me..lol
This is a wooden dog bone from the Wal-Mart craft department. I got the idea from "Courtkell" here on SB.com and knew my dsd would love it. I made this for her 9th birthday gift. We have our dogs here and she misses them so much when she goes to her moms. So I made this to hang over there so she would have a little piece of them with her while she isn't here. She really liked it. We put some eye hooks in the top and tied a ribbon so she could hang it.

I added some rhinestones to the ribbon that I used to cover up the paper seam to make it kind of look like a fancy dog collar.

* Update...yes I used Mod Podge to glue the pp and pics down and then I decoupaged with mod Podge over the pics and the top of the paper to give it all a protective barrier. I also used the Mod Podge to glue down my altered Naked Chipboard letters.
