Nice. Like comfy pajamas. I'm wondering how faint baby blue circles or squares glued down behind each charm might look, with each charm anchored by a small white bow... This way the charms don't seem too lay so flat against the page and stand out a bit more against a lighter colored backdrop. What if the charms were hanging from safety pins?
This is great and boy-ish, love the stitching and clean lines. The charms are adorable! I really like Robyn's suggesting of making the area under the "L" red.
I agree with everything already mentioned. I love robyn's idea of putting those charms on the 6 buttons that you have. Not exaclty sure what could fill in their place though. Love the boy-ish look of it.. very great choice of paper
Its looking really good Mel! I like the colours, buttons and the faux stiching. I would be tempted to do some faux stiching down the sides of the blue (nearest pp) and fill the L in red to make it stand out.
Great masculine colors and I like the cleanness of it. The only thing that I would change is to add some dangling tags (almost journaling strips)on the top (red) ribbon that describe Luke. Like funny, tough, sweet. Have them looped over the ribbon and dangling. I just want something else to make it personal. It is beautiful!
I like this one Mel. Nice colors and I like the faux stitching on all the letters. Are those charms with little jump rings attached? Hard to see. If so, then I might switch things up a bit. I personally feel like charms should always be attached to something, instead of just stuck to a page. See the three buttons at the top? I would take out the floss and get some very thin white ribbon (this sounds hard, but you can do it, trust me). Cut the end of the ribbon at the sharpes angel that you can and thread that through the holes, then slide the jump rings onto the ribbon and tie it. This way the charms will "dangle" from the buttons. Oh wait! I see you did the ribbon thing in the red button, so that's what I mean, except the charm would be tied in the center. It took me a few tries to be able to do this but the effect is worth it. I know this leaves you with space on the sides, and I really don't have any good suggestions for that. Maybe someone else will come up with something. If you did keep the charms the way they are I would at least for sure put ribbon through the jump rings or another technique is to attach them to the very end of safety pins and pin them through a bow. I would also change the order that they are in... don't make them go in the same order down both sides. Another suggestion.... an off color or red in the middle of the "L" instead of letting the background color show through.
