Awww very touching!!!!!! Almost making me cry! My kids are growing up too.. and will leave home and then I'll be alone.. :( makes me sad thinking about that. Your journaling touched me..
oh wow!!!!! not sure what to call it but the way you did the top.... the flowers with the square or diamond .... holy toledo that looks cool!!!! ok i think it's a square frame wuth the flowers on it. awesome job!!!!!
wow! this is so pretty - the eyelets are perfect and the colors are so complimentary. The title is perfect too - great work. Good luck with the challenge.
Susan, this is so touching!!!! I almost cried reading your jornaling. I love that you scrapped an older picture of your dds. The lo is just stunning and the love that you poured into this is priceless!!!!
another great layout!!!! Love the color combinations and the use of the different size fonts in the title. The placement of the flowers is just perfect and I really like the quote at the top of the page about children's laughter.
This is such a precious layout! The colors of the flowers are so pretty and the picture looks great. Isn't it so much fun to scrap pictures of our children when they were young!!!
This is just so beautiful Susan.........the colours are wonderful together and what a precious memory for you. Another thing we have in common........both have a DD named Kimberley!!!!
Precious!! I love the colors you chose and that photo is priceless!! Flowers are great and I love that little bow on the left. And all those scallops!!! Wonderful layout!
Ahhhhh Susan you have become so good with the scrapping! I love the colors here, and how you put the eyelets on the scalloped edges. I have a lot of scalloped paper I am trying to think of things to do with it - may borrow this idea!!The flowers on top are SO pretty together, beautiful arrangement!
ooooooooooooooh I really like that bunch of yummy goodness up on top of the circle! The flowers, stamps and little scallops are SO great together! WTG girl!
I will echo Lizzy's comment. This is every bit as good as anything I see in magazines. In fact, since I found this gallery, my magazines lie forsaken on the coffee table. I love your combination of pink and yellow. It's so bright and cheerful. What kind of ink did you use on the flourishes? Are they an acrylic stamp?
(Sorry, the scan is not very good) My DDs when they were young. This is for the April Keywork Challenge with a twist - (PamFSU29). Journaling is hidden behind the picture and reads:
My girls – you are both so precious to me! This picture was made September 23, 1977. Traci, you were 2 1/2 years old and Kimberly, you were only 10 months old. My, how the years have flown! As I sit here looking at this picture today, I’m remembering all the stages you two have gone through, and all the giggles and laughter throughout the years. Now, you’re both grown, and have children of your own….and yet even today, there is nothing I like better that to see the two of you laughing together. Love you!!
