My niece is turning 14 tomorrow and I wanted to do something special for her. I used the July 06 Pea Kit for the flower and border. Journaling reads: Kaylin is turning fourteen on Monday. Oh how I remember when I was in 11th grade and I got a call from my mom while I was at a play with my high school boyfriend telling me to hurry up and get to the hospital because Heather was having her baby. I didn't know what to think at the time. I didn't know what to think at the time. Even though Heather was my sister she was my best friend and to think that she would be sharing the love someone else scared me. Did this mean that I would have to share my sister with a crying baby? Would I be grown up enough to take care of her and enjoy her like a real aunt should? Little did I know that she would become the pride and joy and that she would turn out to be just like me. She loves clothes, socializing, talking on the phone, and is so caring. She is very conscientous and makes sure that everyone is happy. I am so proud of who she has become and she is growing up to be such a beautiful young girl. She gets great grades, is involved in everything, and shares a great group of friends. I have always shared a close bond with her because she reminds me so much of myself. I love you Kaylin and am so proud to call you my niece.
