This is a page I have been wanting to do for a while but kept putting off because the subject was kind of sad. The journaling is to my dd in case something ever happened to me. These are the things she should know. This journaling really made me cry writing all of these things to her, but I am glad that one day she will have this.


I machine stitched around the LO and to the pp and journaling tag. I hand stitched the HS hearts to my LO. I painted on all of the hearts and inked my pps. I used 3 mediums for my title: rub-ons, chipboard and stickers.


Journaling: One day you told me that you didn’t want me to die when you grew up. I asked why you thought that was going to happen. You put together the fact that my mommy and daddy’s mommy are not part of your life and lately you have been worried that something will happen to me. I think your interpretation is that all mommies die when their kids grow up. I tried to reassure you that I didn’t plan on going anywhere but you still had this quivering in your voice that I can’t forget.
There are some things that I want you to know, just in case. The best thing that ever happened to me was having you as my daughter. I don’t think I truly knew what happiness was until you were born. I didn’t think it was possible to love someone as much as I love you. Always know how very special you are. I think you are beautiful inside and out and never doubt your abilities. Remember to laugh everyday! Lastly, I want you to know that you are the thing in my life I am most proud of and having you made my life complete. I love you always, sweetheart.
