These layouts were made in late 2002 early 2003. This is "My Mothers History". This is a page about my grandmother and is Page 1 of 2. The next page is 2 of 2 of the 12 x 12 layout spread. Again, my own borders my out of solid paper with a patterned paper page behind. This page contains a biography of my grandmother also (which is always important for to tell that little story). Journaling reads: Top Left - Grand's Home and one of her Beloved Collies. Top Center - Grandma's freshman year in High School dated 1929. Top Right is a newspaper article about the years of service she worked at. Little quote I wrote in the center right - Big Grandma - I know that the love that you put forth so kindly on each made you an Angel in Heaven. Love, Brenda. Bottom right - Big Grandma at Age 29. Biography: Mary Evangeline Borders (Morris) My Grandmother Vange - Grandma Morris was born on March 22nd, 1915. She was a special woman to me as I grew to love her very much and remember her well. She was a spry lady and always very caring. She loved and welcomed everybody. I called her Big Grandma, as she was a taller woman. Her friends and family called her Vange. I remember spending Christmas at her home every year when I was a little girl. It was always a lot of fun for me. She made it fun. Red was her favorite color so I decorated her pages in red. She loved animals, through her life she had many cats and dog, she especially loved collies. She graduated High School and could type over 100 words per minute on a manual typewriter. She retired from the ASCS Office after twenty years. She even made her own cookbook. she survived TB in the late 40's while she spent 2 years away from her family in the ward. She was also listed at the time as the longest living person who had been diagnosed with Lupus. She was a great woman and overcame many obstacles and achieved many things in her life.
