This is me at 13 yrs old & my little Jack Russell puppy Toby, on my pony Misty. Both of my friends have since passed. Misty lived to the ripe old age of 32 years old. When I was younger & lived & breathed horses & riding. It is something that I am no longer able to do. I think about it often and some days I long for that feeling of freedom that I used to have when I rode. I live in the hope that one day, when life is not so hectic and money is not so scarce, I will return to this life that I loved so much. Journaling ~ Growing up, my whole life was about horses. I rode every weekend and most week nights after school. I have not been on a horse since I fell pregnant almost 8 years ago. It is something that I miss with all of my heart.
