How do you measure a year?

This is a layout that I really love! I did it based on someone's layout on another site, but I cant remember who! (sorry)... The number at the top is how many hours old I was on my birthday... The tag has stuff that means something (mostly) to me, or things I remember, however my bf pointed out that I graduated 2 years ago, not last year... maybe I should go back. :) I felt stupid, so I have to fix that somehow... not quite sure how, but if you have any suggestions, PLEASE tell me!!! Thanks!
